 Yogalicious Kids

In classrooms across America, children are told to sit still. But movement integrates and anchors new information into neural networks, increasing a child’s capacity to learn. Those who think best while showering or running experience this. Yogalicious KidsTM is a comprehensive yoga program for children ages 3-13. Integrating nutrition, movement, breath work, meditation and expression, Yogalicous Kids enhances learning.

For the 1.1 million obese children in the U.S., Yogalicious Kids can combat this trend by teaching them to feel good about moving while learning to take care of and respect their bodies. The benefits range from reducing stress, maintaining healthier bodies, increasing concentration, building self-esteem, to gaining a sense of one’s role in improving the world.

Yogalicious Kids Camp: Global Trek is scheduled for July 5-8, 2011 from 9 a.m. - 1 p.m. Space is limited, so register early! For more details and to register, click here.
