Parent & Child Yoga
Child Ages: Toddlers from 22 mos. - 4 years of age.

Yes, your toddler can do yoga! Our class is structured so that tots between the ages of 22 months - 4 years and their caregiver will receive all the benefits of yoga through movement, dance, story-telling and play.  We'll begin with a "centering" by singing our hello song, practicing a breathing technique and learning our theme or intention. Every class has a new theme such as "giving" or "kindess," which is woven throughout our music, postures and activities. We'll warm up our bodies with a dance using scarves or other motion prop. Next we'll practice some yoga poses that help us demonstrate our theme and then move on to activities that include balls, a parachute, puppets and other fun surprises. We'll end class with soothing music during our relaxation snooze.

This is a fast-paced class to keep up with a toddler's attention span, but it is balanced with rest after effort. You'll be amazed at some of our meditation techniques especially developed for active little ones. We look forward to practicing with you!

Date:  Wednesdays
Time:  10:30 - 11:20 a.m.
(class begins promptly at 10:30 a.m. to honor your children's schedules)
